One of our core beliefs is that God desires all of us to be on a journey of faith. As individuals and as a community, we should never think of ourselves as accomplished or having arrived at our destination, but rather we are always seeking the next step God has for our learning and growth. At First United Methodist of Colleyville we are committed to creating opportunities for children, youth, and adults to grow in their faith and in their life. We hope this can happen for individuals, but we also expect growth to happen as a community, always seeking to increase our understanding and our community as God would move us forward.

Children
Raising the next generation of Believers! Through a wide variety of missions, music, arts and crafts, theater, and just plain fun, our children are learning the fundamentals of our faith and developing a spiritual foundation that will serve them throughout their life.
Youth
Our Youth are a vital integrated part of the church community. We have a large, very energetic Youth group which experiences Christ through a variety of activities including movie nights, mission trips, just hanging out and the Youth Band. Intermingled with the fun are serious discussions on handling issues facing teens today and how to live a Christ-centered life in today’s world.

Adults

Wednesday Night Dinner
Wednesday Wesley meals are an important part of our congregational life at FUMC. Mealtimes provide opportunities for us to get to know one another, especially those who worship at different services and go to different Sunday school classes. They are a great avenue for inviting friends and neighbors to visit the church for the first time as well. Come experience our church’s exceptional hospitality!
