Missions
First United
Methodist Church of Colleyville is involved with various mission
outreach projects both locally and abroad. We support GRACE (a food
and clothing bank), SafeHaven of Tarrant County (a domestic violence shelter), and SLAB (a street ministry for homeless persons). Rukang Chikomb is our missionary. Special offerings are taken during the year for other
mission opportunities.
Current Opportunities
Career Connections is a new group. See more information below.
Email the church
secretary for
more information on our Current Opportunities.
Angel Tree
Angel Tree is an outreach to the children of people who are
in prison. Individuals from FUMC Colleyville purchase, wrap and
deliver Christmas gifts to children whose prisoner-parent makes a
request for help. Every Christmas Season, we deliver gifts to and
share the Christmas story with families in the Ft. Worth area.

Boy Scouts

GRACE
GRACE needs crackers! Our church family has a
long-standing commitment to providing crackers and peanut butter to
GRACE. Help us meet this current need! Donations can be
brought to the church or taken to GRACE.
At least once per year our youth canvas
local neighborhoods for food items that will stock the shelves of
GRACE in Grapevine. A fun activity reaps big rewards!

Safe Haven-Women's Shelter
Safe Haven provides a safe place for women and their children who
are the victims of domestic violence. Our church provides clothing and household items
for these women since many of them arrive at the shelter with only the
clothes on their backs. Each year in the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day, our congregation participates in a “Fill the Pool” drive by collecting new bathing suits, beach towels, sunscreen, etc. for shelter residents.
SLAB
Once each
month, people from FUMC Colleyville travel to Ft. Worth to work at
SLAB, a ministry to homeless people. We sort and distribute clothing
and feed those who come.
