The Five Star Award is given only to specially qualifying United Methodist Churches who are leaders in local and global missions.

FUMC Colleyville has earned this recognition for our support of a missionary in the Democratic Republic of Congo who runs the "Wings of the Morning" aviation ministry, as well as sponsoring a person in mission to young people in Sierra Leone, having an ongoing mission education program, participating in local outreach missions, and supporting our connectional giving commitments.
