    Fine Arts Academy

    Welcome to the Fine Arts Academy

    First UMC Colleyville’s Fine Arts Academy is an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church of Colleyville, Texas.
    It functions under the umbrella of the music ministry and serves the community by:

    • Providing excellent training in music and other fine arts
    • Providing a safe and wholesome environment for learning
    • Developing future leaders in church and community arts programs

    It is our desire to provide the best in fine arts instruction. We are dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students can learn, grow spiritually and use their talents to glorify God. Membership at FUMCC is not required to be part of the Academy – anyone is welcome to participate.

    Classes Offered

    We are currently offering private music lessons in guitar, piano, organ, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet and voice. We hope to also offer drawing, painting and other arts disciplines at some point in the future.

    Calendar

    FUMCC Fine Arts Academy will be open year round. The Academy will be closed on major holidays when the church campus is closed.
    Lesson times are determined based upon open times slots and teacher availability.

    Registration fee per semester per individual: $15.00

    Registration fee per semester per household: $20.00.

    Lesson Fees (per Week)
    30 Minute Lesson – $30.00
    45 Minute Lesson – $45.00
    60 Minute Lesson – $60.00

    To enroll, please complete the registration form. Registration forms are available in the church office and HERE.  The registration fee and first month’s tuition are due with this form.

    Subsequent payments are made on a monthly basis and due by the 10th of each month. The registration fee and tuition does not include any lesson books or other materials. Your instructor will let you know if the purchase of other materials is required.

     

    Please make checks payable to FUMCC and in the memo line add Fine Arts Academy. Checks and forms can be left in the church office (please use entrance #2) or mailed to the address below.

    Make-Up Lessons

    Lessons are considered a standing appointment. Make-up lessons will be offered when either a teacher must be absent or the Academy closes due to inclement weather.

    Make-up lessons are offered when a student is absent and the Academy is given at least 24 hours’ notice.
