Join us at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville on Sunday, May 26th, for a special message from one of our own youth, Rebecca Nalley! At each of our regular services, 9am and 11:11, Rebecca will be preaching on how science can point us to the Creator of All! You are invited to attend as we celebrate what God is doing in the hearts of our young people!
All women of FUMC Colleyville are invited to join Women’s Mission & Fellowship members on Saturday, June 1, for Weatherford’s First Monday Trade Days event. The group will meet at the church at 8am and head to Weatherford. They’ll shop until lunchtime, have lunch at a restaurant in town, then be back at the church by 2pm. Summer is the perfect time to curl up in your favorite lawn chair on the porch or on a chaise lounge by the pool and read a good book! This month, join us in reading, “The Cup of Our Life: A Guide to Spiritual Growth,” by Joyce Rupp. This book club will meet in person at the church on Wednesday July 10th, from 6-7:30, led by Pastor Mike!

Summer Women’s Bible Study
This year’s Women’s Summer Bible Study is “Undistracted: Capture Your Purpose. Rediscover Your Joy” by Bob Goff. Distractions cause more harm than you might think. And they’re all around us, all the time. They can disrupt our focus on what really matters, interfere with our true priorities, and divert our attention from the God who created us for God’s good purpose. Through the pithy and inspiring storytelling that has endeared him to millions, New York Times bestselling author Bob Goff invites you to laugh with more gusto, dream with more confidence, and love with more intention in this disarming call to live Undistracted.
This Bible Study is 5 sessions, and will meet Sunday, July 7th – August 4th from 6:00-7:30pm. This Bible Study will be a hybrid format, which means you can participate in-person or online via Zoom. Those who meet in person will gather in FL204 at the church.

Save the date for our Neighborhood Table next Wednesday May 8 at 6pm in the Event Center. Hosted by the FUMCC church board, dinner will be a delicious Italian meal. Your donation of $7 per person or $20 per family of 3 or more will benefit our mission trip to Sierra Leone this summer
Come browse generations of creative quilts at FUMC Colleyville’s Quilt Show and Tea Saturday May 4, 10am to 2pm. There will be fun door prizes and a fantastic complimentary light tea served from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or can be purchased for $12 in advance by clicking HERE. All proceeds benefit Feed Our Kids Summer Food Program.

Thursday, May 2nd, is National Day of Prayer! You are invited to a time of come-and-go prayer in the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville, on Thursday, May 2nd, between 11am-6pm. You can journey through our available prayer stations and prompts throughout the sanctuary, pray together with a prayer team member, or just spend some time in personal prayer and reflection. Join us as we pray for our community, nation, and world!

Both time and space are running out, register soon for this Summer’s VBS!! Jesus gives us the most amazing reason to party. That’s why we believe God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus is the best news ever.
Kids age 4 through entering 5th grade are invited to join us for our free VBS Monday July 22 through Thursday July 25. We’ll meet from 9am to noon each day and kids will rotate through crafts, games, snack time, music and more. Each day, students will learn how to find joy and celebrate the good news.
And make plans to join us for VBS Family Night on Wednesday, July 24 at 6pm. They’ll be a free dinner for all the VBS families, a chance for kids to show off all they’ve learned, and lots of family fun!
Want to participate in our VBS mission project? We’re making birthday party kits for kids in our community that need a little extra help and distributing them through GRACE Grapevine. Feel free to bring in birthday cake mix, canned frosting or birthday candles!
