    Volunteer Opportunity with Project Transformation

If you have a heart to serve others like Jesus does, we have a great opportunity for you! We are in need of volunteers to read with children at Project Transformation from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. July 18-21 at FUMC Bedford. Project Transformation is a summer camp for children in underserved areas, with a focus on literacy. As a volunteer, you will read one-on-one with a child, help them improve their reading skills, and share God’s love and care with them. If you would like to serve in this capacity, please contact Pastor Katie at or call the church office at 817-281-5254. All volunteers will need to complete a background check and MinistrySafe training.

    New Men’s Small Group

Spiritual growth does not only happen in worship, but often in less formal gatherings like small groups. A small group typically meets on a weekly basis to build relationships, pray, and grow together as disciples. We are beginning a new men’s small group, which will start Sunday, May 22 from 6-7 p.m. in FL204. The commitment for this small group is eight weeks, with the possibility of extending longer. The small group will be facilitated by Mike Whittenberg. To learn more about Mike, click here to read his bio.   To sign up to participate in this small group, click here.
