The Newcomer’s Brunch is an opportunity to enjoy a free brunch, meet the pastors, and learn how to get connected in our church. This event is geared for guests and new members at FUMC Colleyville, and all are welcome! We can’t wait to see you there! Register for Newcomer’s Brunch HERE.
Summer is the perfect time to curl up in your favorite lawn chair on the porch or on a chaise lounge by the pool and read a good book! Please consider joining us one Wednesday night a month for dinner and book discussion. Each of the Summer Book Club meetings will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month.

Registration for children and volunteers is online HERE. Click on “Menu” at the top of the page to Register. Be sure to invite friends and neighbors to join! Pre-K kids must be age 4 as of September 1, 2022. Kids will be grouped by the grade they just completed.
And interested in volunteering? We are doing a rotation style VBS and need Lead Teachers for each room to take the kids through their day and then do a short lesson in the room. Volunteer registration is available HERE – click menu and then volunteer sign up.

Come browse generations of creative quilts at FUMC Colleyville’s Quilt Show and Tea on Saturday, May 6, 10am to 2pm. There will be fun door prizes and a fantastic complimentary light tea served from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Tickets are $12 at the door or can be purchased for $10 in advance by clicking HERE. All proceeds benefit Feed Our Kids Summer Food Program.

FUMC Colleyville’s Sharing Circle of the United Methodist Women will hold a Palm Sunday BAKE SALE on Sunday, April 2. They will be set up outside the church office, just outside the elevator doors, before and after both services (or until everything has been sold out!).
Prayer Retreat Kicks off Friday, March 31 with Synagogue Visit
As part of our Lenten Journey, you are invited to join Pastor Mike in a Prayer Retreat that will begin by attending the March 31st Shabbat service at Congregation Beth Israel from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM. This visit coincides with our very own Madeline Thach and Chancel Choir singing Mark Miller’s anthem, “I Believe” as part of the Shabbat service. Participants will note how the Sabbath is received as a gift and welcomed as a friend by our Jewish neighbors. We will consider what elements of Sabbath are missing from our spiritual lives and how we can incorporate them moving forward.
The Retreat will reconvene at FUMCC at 8AM Saturday morning, April 1, with a continental breakfast followed by the introduction and practice of different ways to pray and experience Scripture. We will conclude with a labyrinth prayer walk in the Event Center. The retreat will end at noon.

Mondays, March 27 through May 1, from 6:30 – 7:45 pm, Will Keck will be leading a new six week hybrid class that examines the theological reasoning and Biblical understanding behind the push for the acceptance of LGBTQ marriage and ordination.
This study will be focused around coming to the table, so if you are attending in-person, you are welcomed and encouraged to bring snacks and/or desserts to share with others. All are welcomed to attend, either in-person or via zoom. Please sign up HERE.
